Kayne McGee

A local product who played for the Ottawa Knights and the Brockville Bunnies, Kayne has had a very good start to his collegiate career hitting over .340 in his first 2 years of JUCO ball (Erie CC,

Dawson CC). He has since transferred to NCAA Division II West Liberty State University in West Liberty, West Virginia. Kayne will play a big role hitting in the middle of the lineup for the Reds. We look forward to following you this year with the Hilltoppers. Best of luck in your junior year and welcome back!

Ethan Hunt-Fraser

Ethan is from Kingston, Ont and is currently a Junior playing for Oklahoma Panhandle State University. He is a treat to watch on the ball field where he does everything at a high level. Top of the lineup kind of player that brings a ton of energy!

Happy to have him back on the squad!

Alex Hobgood

Alex Hobgood, a local product who played with the Brockville Bunnies. He currently goes to the University of Hawaii Hilo. Alex is a big catcher at 6'3 with a great arm and good bat. We look forward to seeing him evolve in school as well as suit up for the very talented group of Reds players next summer!

Jacob Bonzon

Next up for the summer collegiate program is MI Jacob Bonzon of NCAA Roanoke College in Virginia. He is a Toronto Mets alumni who comes highly recommended. Jacob has a very good toolset and we look forward to seeing him in a Reds uniform in 2021 after Covid didn't allow it to happen last year! Welcome to the squad!

Matt Campbell

Matt Campbell of Fort Scott CC in Kansas. Matt comes highly recommended and will be a middle of the order bat. A great athlete who had D1 offers for football as a QB and tight end. Coach Hill said

"Will play a premier 1B for us but has the arm and speed to also play corner OF. Physical gap-gap swing with power to all fields."

Mitchell Szczygiel

Next signing for the Summer Collegiate program is 6'3 RHP/OF Mitchell Szczygiel of Fort Scott CC in Kansas. Mitchell will be joining his teammate Matt Campbell for the

summer! What Coach Hill had to say about him: Mitchell will be in our starting rotation and will also be a big bat in the lineup for us. He has a very nice, quiet yet explosive swing with great carry on his ball.

Patrick Mulligan

Next up for the Summer Collegiate team is MI Pat Mulligan who will be attending Cloud County CC in the Fall. One of the top local recruits, Pat has a very high skill set and will step

right in with a big role on the club. Pat has played at the National level representing Team Ontario and has always been in the conversation as a top prospect in his class.

We are very happy to have him continue with the club at the next level!

Sébastien Dubois

The next player to be signed for 2021 is another local standout in INF Sebastien Dubois. Seb was on the Reds roster last summer is currently playing for St Norbert College in

Wisconsin. He is an alumni of the Brockville Bunnies and had stints with the ABC as well. We expect Seb to come in next summer and have an immediate impact with a great stick from the left side.

Jordan Burnett

Next up for the Summer Collegiate program is 6'3 C Jordan Burnett of Texas College. Jordan is a Jr from Colleyville Texas and is a very good defensive catcher with a great arm. He will come in and have an immediate impact with the pitching staff. We look forward to seeing him in a Reds uniform! Welcome to the squad!

Danick Roussel

Next up for the Summer Collegiate Team is local OF Danick Roussel who has an impressive baseball resume. A treat to watch cause he can do everything at a high level. A cannon for 

an arm and plus power at the plate that he showed while winning the HR derby at Jr Canadian National Championships in 2019. Represented Quebec at the T12 tournament and played for the ABC. Danick also played for the CC Reds U18 team that traveled to Texas and he definitely turned some heads that week. Happy to have him back on the squad for 2021!

Evan Symons

Next up for the Summer Collegiate Team is a local U of Ottawa product Util Evan Symons. Evan played with the Reds on a couple occasions last summer and was a regular at our workouts. Good stick and his versatility will be a plus to our team. He works his tail off and has a great attitude towards the game. Welcome to the squad!
