ALL REDS COLLEGIATE POSITION PLAYERS
Omar just signed a contract with the Santa Isabel Potros in Puerto Rico. He played pro in Argentina in 2019 and won an MVP award for the league. Omar was as good as it gets behind the dish. Making it look easy he had one of best pop times I've seen at under 1.8 consistently
Texas native who came to us after having a very good year at Panola CC. Austin could flat out hit as multi hit games were the norm. Austin holds the record for most doubles in a high school season in Texas. He is now coaching with the prestigious Evoshield teams in Texas.
Austin was part of the inaugural season. Had a great college career at Limestone and was the type of player the Reds always tried to mold themselves after. He went on the be an all star in the Pecos League and later signed with the Ottawa Champions of the CanAm League. He is now giving back and coaching with the summer collegiate team!
PO was a 2 way player for us. Did everything right and worked his tail off. Went to Galveston CC in Texas for 2 years and is now continuing his education / baseball at prestigious McGill.
Tucker was last year's MVP and what a season he had! Comes from a very good Methodist U baseball program. Mr Automatic was a rock at 3 rd base and every hit he got seemed to find a gap. His stats at Methodist speak for itself. Going into his senior season, sky is the limit on the ball field!
Another Methodist U product, Alex came to us after his senior season and was everything we expected and more. This switch hitting OF was a treat to watch. Power from both sides of the plate and plus speed. He would go on to play one year of pro ball in the Frontier League where he showed he belonged!
Duncan played for the Reds the first couple years when attending Westminster in Pennsylvania . 1st ever captain, Duncan was able to make some hilight reel plays that the coaching staff still talk about. Duncan had a cannon of an arm and had great jumps that made everything hit his way look easy. Great guy who is now the Head Coach of the U17 Toronto Mets
Charlie came to us from Alderson Broaddus U where he consistently put great seasons together. A player that had every tool and used it to his advantage. What is crazy is that Charlie played every game injured the summer he was with us. Never complained and had professional at bats all summer long! I can just imagine him when healthy!
Ryan caught for us all last season and did a great job with the pitching staff. I've rarely seen someone so clutch at the plate in all my years of baseball. The team started 12-0 last season and Ryan had 8 game winning hits in this span with 25 RBI's. He is currently at Carleton U and is one of the best Canadian University hitters on the circuit. This guy can hit with the best of them
A 4 year player with the Reds, Jr kept getting better year after year. We could put him in the Wizard category for his defensive play. Jr played for SUNY Canton where he was a 2 sport athlete ( baseball and soccer ). Made all the routine plays but what is impressive is he made the highlight reel plays look routine as well. Treat to watch
Jonathan played the first 2 seasons with the Reds after playing at Weatherford CC then going on to play at McGill U. Quite the resume for this young man having played internationally at the World Baseball Classic with Team France. Jon never looked fooled or overmatched in any of his at bats. Became a fake bunt slash specialist! Great approach and discipline day in day out.
